Sorry for the late introduction! Hi, I’m Kristina — translator, language specialist, and lifelong lover of stories.I hold a BA in Japanese Studies and am currently completing my MA in Translation, with a focus on Literature, Media, and the Arts. Born in the beautiful city of Salzburg, I now call Vienna my home. German is my native language, and I’ve been learning English since early childhood. Growing up in the countryside, I also speak Austrian German dialect, or 'Mundart'.For more than four years, I’ve had the joy of working in manga publishing, which has shaped my understanding of storytelling, character voice, and the ways cultural adaptation can make a story truly resonate.I specialize in literature and audiovisual translation, with a strong focus on creative media — but I’m open to a wide range of projects!
